Luxembourg-based transportation and logistics company Jost Group recently added a tanker trailer to supply its LNG filling terminal in Herstal, Belgium.
In order to provide the terminal with more than 2,000 filling operations per month, this tanker makes one trip every 36 hours to pick up LNG from the Fluxys-operated terminal in Zeebrugge, according to Jost.
The European transport company has announced an order for 500 Iveco Stralis LNG trucks in 2017 in order to switch to clean fuel from diesel and reduce emissions.
With the new trailer, the company now has a complete chain of LNG supplies for its truck fleet.
The terminal in Herstal features a 90 cubic meter tank and four dispensers, making it one of the largest LNG filling terminals in Europe, says Jost.
