LOGISTEED announced that it has entered into a share transfer agreement to acquire all of the shares of Van den Bos & van Daalen Materieel BV (BosDaalen), a Dutch logistics company providing temperature-controlled consolidated transportation services within Europe.
BosDaalen is a transport company founded in 2021 through a merger between CARGOBOSS BV and Van Daalen Transport BV, both of which have been operating for over 100 years. The company transports fruits, vegetables and flowers daily mainly from the Netherlands to Germany, Switzerland and Northern France. It also transports fruits, vegetables, dairy products and dry goods to the Netherlands as return cargo. The company has received high praise from customers for its expertise in consolidated transport, which has been built up over many years of experience, and for its excellent transport quality. Its customer base includes producers, wholesalers and retailers of fruits, vegetables and flowers. In its medium-term management plan “LOGISTEED2024”, the company has identified “strengthening and expanding the overseas business” as a priority action. It aims to further develop its business by adding temperature-controlled consolidated transport within Europe to its services by acquiring all of BosDaalen’s shares to make the company a subsidiary.
In Europe, there has been a huge demand for temperature-controlled transportation from the Netherlands, which has the port of Rotterdam, the gateway to Europe, and is also a major producer of fruits, vegetables and flowers, to EU member states, especially Germany, France and Italy, as well as the UK, and this demand is expected to continue to grow steadily. With this acquisition, LOGISTEED will enter the temperature-controlled transportation business in Europe and continue to expand its business.
